BOARD & TRAIN

You have a lot going on between work and family. Sometimes, you need a little extra help. I can take the long hours of repetition and do the work for you. Your best friend will be treated as a family member while they stay in my home. I consider your dog's physical, mental, emotional, and social needs to be essential in our training. Therefore, I spend the time needed to observe temperament and choose the best training for each dog. I want this exclusive program to model your lifestyle as closely as I can make it, and because of this, I schedule only a couple of dogs at a time.

What Do you Get?

Our Board & Train program is perfect for owners who want intensive, results-driven training for their dog. Over the course of 5 weeks, your dog will stay with me, receiving tailored, one-on-one training each day. I focus on everything from basic obedience to more advanced behavior modification, depending on your dog's needs.

What's Included

Our 5-week Board & Train program is designed to target your dog’s specific challenges, whether it’s basic obedience, behavioral issues, or socialization.
Multiple daily one-on-one sessions. Each session is designed to maximize your dog’s learning in a focused, stress-free setting, ensuring they make lasting progress.
In-home follow-up classes to teach you how to continue training and reinforce good behavior at home.
Progress updates to keep you informed on your dog's development during their stay.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your dog home during the training process, allowing you to practice and reinforce what they’ve learned. This gives us the chance to troubleshoot any challenges and ensure that the training successfully transfers to you as the owner. After all, it’s not just about what I can do with your dog—it’s about making the training work seamlessly for you and your everyday life.

Mini Boot Camp Option (2 Weeks)

Not ready for a full 5-week program? Our Mini Boot Camp offers an intensive, results-driven training experience in just 2 weeks. Perfect for addressing specific behavior issues or providing a quick jumpstart to your dog's training, this condensed program gives your dog the attention they need while fitting into a busy schedule.

What’s Included:

2 Weeks of One-on-One Sessions: Focused training on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization.
Daily Training: Each day builds on the last, ensuring steady progress and retention of key behaviors.
Owner Involvement: You’ll learn the tools and techniques to reinforce the training at home, ensuring a smooth transition.
Follow-Up Sessions: personalized sessions with you to troubleshoot any challenges and ensure you’re confident in maintaining the progress.

IN-HOME TRAINING PACKAGES

With 4 two-hour sessions, we’ll work directly with you and your dog to create lasting solutions that work for your lifestyle.

Off-Leash Reliable Come When Called

Give your dog the freedom to explore, while knowing they’ll always return when called. Our Off-Leash Reliability program teaches your dog to come to you reliably, even in distracting environments.

What’s Included:

Step-by-Step Recall Training: Build a solid, reliable response to your call.
Distraction Training: Ensure your dog listens in any situation—at the park, on walks, or in public.
With the use of an e-collar, we can establish a reliable recall, allowing your dog the freedom to roam while ensuring they are always safe and return when called.

"We had a wonderful experience boarding and training our 7-month old Wirehaired Pointer with Julie. Despite our daily runs, our puppy was pulling and biting at the leash and often tripping me. When she returned home, she was loose-leash trained- heeling and sitting when I stopped and no longer pulling. Julie walked me through what she had done with our dog, Mouse, so that I would be equipped to continue her training at home. She worked on "place" and "leave it," which has been extremely helpful in our daily lives with our three young children. Mouse also came back no longer jumping when a guest arrives.
